Nez Perce Tribe to Host Nimiipuu 101 Presentation for the Lewiston-Clarkston Community

Clarkston, WA – UPDATED -The Nez Perce Tribe invites the people of the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley to a Nimiipuu 101 presentation, on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Red Wolf Golf Course, where tribal elected officials and executives will talk about the Tribe’s past, present and future.

Chairman Shannon Wheeler and Vice-Chairman Ashton Picard will open the session and Nakia Williamson, Cultural Resources Manager, and Jeanette Moody, Staff Attorney will provide some background on cultural connections to the area and legal history.

Nikoli Greene, the Enterprise Executive Officer and Danae Wilson, Executive Director, will talk about contemporary issues and plans for the future. 

“We are pleased to share information about the Tribe with people who may know a little bit about Nez Perce history, and want to learn more about what we do on a day-today basis,” said Chairman Wheeler.

Finger foods and beverages will be provided.
