Ronald L. Wheeler, 31, Lapwai

Early as a child, Ron's artistic talents were evident. He often preferred to sketch on his notebooks instead of listening in class.

After graduating from Lapwai High School in 1993, Ron furthered his education in the art field by attending the Seattle Art Institute, Southwest Indian Polytechnical Institute (SIPI), and Lewis-Clark State College.
