ELIZABETH KAY ARTHUR ATTAO 

Nez Perce Tribal Members, I offer you over 36 years of work experience in duties requiring much trust and responsibility. I am honest, dependable, hard worker and am ready to be of service to you . I look forward to meeting everyone and available to answer any questions. I appreciate your support and vote for NPTEC Seat 1 position.

1/19/2001 TO 12/31/2015 (14 years) Background Investigator – Gaming Commission NP Tribe (position RIF’d by NPTEC Resolution effective 12/31/2015);

01/04/1999 – 01/19/2001 (2 years) Gaming Commissioner (full-time) (NPTEC Appointed Position Ended)

  • Knowledgeable with NPT Gaming Ordinance; 1995 Gaming Compact by and between Idaho State & Nez Perce Tribe; Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA); Internal Control Policy & Procedures.

009/01/1975 – 01/04/1999 (23 + years) DOI - Bureau of Indian Affairs, Northern Idaho Agency, Lapwai – US Government Service (Voluntary resignation - transfer to NPT Tribe Gaming)

  • Acting Indian Self-Determination Specialist – Tribal Enrollment, Resolutions-Record Management, Coordinator PL93-638 Contracts, Grants, Modifications;

  • Teller (Indian Monies) –Accounting, approximately 3,900 IIM & Special Deposit accounts, posting & distribution checks;

  • Management Assistant - Authorized Collector all funds for leases, forestry, loans, Estates, per capita funds; Encoder for Federal Finance System; Personnel & Payroll, Integrated Records Management System (IRMS); Assist with Agency budgets; Realty Technician – assist duties with Leasing, Probates, Acquisition & Disposal; Primary Disbursing Agent – Fire Fighter & Emergency payroll.
