2009 Transit Calendar                                        

PLEASE NOTE:  The Appaloosa Express Transit system will be closed every third Thursday of each month for in-service and regular maintenance on the vehicles.

ROUTES

Fixed Route Brochure (effective 11/04/09)

Appaloosa Express Transit offers service to Lenore, Greer, Orofino, Kamiah, Kooskia, Culdesac, Lapwai, and Lewiston including the Clearwater River and Itse' Ye Ye casinos.  Appaloosa Express Transit connects with Valley Transit at the Lewiston Community Center.

On Demand Brochure (effective 11/04/09)

On demand service is designed to provide necessary transportation when the fixed route system does not meet the needs of our riders.  A minimum of 72 hours notice is required prior to the departure date.

Riders are encouraged to utilize the fixed route service where possible.  Advance reservations for on demand service are necessary as appointments are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.  

MONTHLY PASS INFORMATION

Monthly passes are available from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Dispatch Office which is located at 120 Bever Grade, Lapwai, ID.  Monthly passes are not available during closure dates.

The monthly pass price is $20.00 ($15.00 for senior citizens age 55+ - Identification may be required).  Monthly passes allow unlimited rides for the entire month and are valid on the Appaloosa Express Transit buses only.

PLEASE NOTE:  Effective November 2009, the monthly pass price will increase to $30.00 ($25.00 for senior citizens age 55+).   

DAILY PASS INFORMATION

Daily passes are available for $2.00 from the drivers at any time.  Daily passes allow unlimited rides for the date purchased on the Appaloosa Express Transit system.  Drivers cannot make change.
